From their first meeting, the script reading scene for "Lovephobia," which boasted a fantastic rapport, was suddenly revealed.
The new drama "Lovephobia" (written by Lee Se-ryeong, directed by Wang Hye-ryeong, produced by WEMAD), which will first be released on Feb. 19 at 11 p.m. on U+mobiletv and Lifetime, tells the story of Yoon Bia (played by Yeonwoo), the CEO of the 0% sensitivity AI dating program "It's You," and Han Seon-ho (played by Kim Hyunjin), a romance novelist with 100% emotion, as they come to understand each other and find love. It will be available first on LG U+mobiletv VOD.
The key players who will lead "Lovephobia" all showed up at the script reading. Led by director Wang Hye-ryeong and writer Lee Se-ryeong, attendees who brightened the event included Yeonwoo (as Yoon Bia), Kim Hyunjin (as Han Seon-ho), Jo Yun-seo (as Seol Jae-hee), Choi Byeong-chan (as Han Baek-ho), Im Ji-eun (as Yang Sun-ae), Lee Ji-hae (as Song Ji-young), Kim Ki-nam (as Kim Kyung-tae), Han Gyu-min (as Kang San), Hwang Ha-jung (as Hong Joo-yeon), and Kim So-ha (as Shin Yu-gyeong). The actors not only showed perfect synergy despite their first time working together, but they also burned with intense passion and became fully immersed in the project.
Yeonwoo, who plays Yoon Bia, the CEO of the AI dating app, quickly immersed herself in a character who has a prickly, cold exterior but a delicate inner self, leading the atmosphere on set. After the script reading, Yeonwoo urged prospective viewers to "watch what changes happen to Bia," and stressed, "I hope you watch the process of her coming to understand true love." Expectations are high for how Yeonwoo will portray the psychological changes of a character who fears love.
Kim Hyunjin perfectly embodied Han Seon-ho, a romance novelist and a devoted lover. He effortlessly showed everything from a resolute presence to sweet charm, becoming one with the character. Citing the relationships between characters as a viewing point, he said, "It will be fun to watch while inferring the characters' backstories," revealing his special affection for the work.
Next, Jo Yun-seo, who plays Seol Jae-hee, Bia's reliable business partner and close friend, added immersion to the drama by showing the qualities of a capable career woman. Choi Byeong-chan, who played Han Baek-ho, Han Seon-ho's twin brother and the head of one agency, made the set smile with his unique cheerful and cute charm.
In addition, supporting actors such as Im Ji-eun, Lee Ji-hae, Kim Ki-nam, Han Gyu-min, Hwang Ha-jung, and Kim So-ha, along with other actors with lively energy, joined forces to inject energy into the script reading. Fueled by the actors' passionate performances, attention is focused on how the novel love story enhanced by AI will unfold.
