Representative married-couple variety show SBS 'Same Bed, Different Dreams season 2 - You Are My Destiny' will be on Tuesday nights at 10:40 p.m. starting in February.
First broadcast in July 2017, 'Same Bed, Different Dreams season 2 - You Are My Destiny' (hereinafter 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2') has maintained a singular presence among numerous married-couple variety shows and has established itself as the definitive married-couple variety program. 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2,' which candidly portrays the daily lives of married couples from various fields and has elicited empathy and public interest, has featured as many as 97 couples so far. It has also demonstrated steady viewer love by setting notable records such as a peak minute rating of 15.8% (Nielsen Korea, metropolitan), 76 consecutive weeks ranked first in its time slot, and a total of 1.8 billion views for YouTube clips. 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2' has firmly built the program's identity by offering the pleasure of watching various "different dreams" that exist within the closest relationship of marriage and by drawing broad empathy.
Meanwhile, 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2' is moving its time slot from Monday to Tuesday. It will follow 'Whenever Possible,' which airs at 9 p.m. on Tuesdays, completing SBS's solid Tuesday variety lineup. Earlier at the '2025 SBS Entertainment Awards,' MC Kim Gu Ra also said, "I'm taking on this challenge. I'll go to Tuesday and try to revive the program in a great way."
Along with the schedule move, more diverse couples of destiny are scheduled to join. The first protagonist is actress Yun Yoo-sun, who has received public affection through steady activity since her child acting days. Yun Yoo-sun married judge Lee Seong-ho, who is three years her senior, in 2001, attracting public attention for the marriage between an actor and a legal professional. Since this is their first joint broadcast appearance since marriage, the couple's joining has been drawing interest even before the broadcast.
In the preview video revealed at the end of the broadcast on the 26th, Yun Yoo-sun said, "We really fought a lot. My husband tries to judge right and wrong as if making a ruling," voicing dissatisfaction toward a husband who seems to judge his wife. In response, her husband Lee Seong-ho replied, "I thought the person at fault was pretending not to be at fault," conveying the image of an actor wife who even does method acting(?) during an argument, which drew laughter. He added, "Because my wife has built a good image over time, no one speaks ill of her, but she used to say, 'If I appear on TV, I'll be ruined,' " foreshadowing revelations about Yun Yoo-sun's true self, who has a dignified and calm image, increasing curiosity and anticipation.
What kind of empathy and stories the newly timed 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2' will continue to bring, and with actress Yun Yoo-sun joining, 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2' will air from February on Tuesdays at 10:40 p.m.
