Singer Kang Kyun-sung delivered a surprising update about his previously public vow of 'premarital chastity,' bringing big laughs to viewers.
On the afternoon of the 25th, SBS variety show My Little Old Boy showed Kang Kyun-sung joining as a new member of the show. That day Kim Hee-cheul visited Kang Kyun-sung's home and, while looking around the house, repeatedly expressed surprise.
When Kim Hee-cheul saw an exercise bike left in a corner and asked, "Why is this here?" Kang Kyun-sung replied, "I don't use it," prompting laughter from the start. Then, entering a room piled high with shoes, Kim Hee-cheul said, "What is this? This is..." and was at a loss for words, clicking his tongue and saying, "I really have no words." Kang Kyun-sung explained, "I didn't buy them to collect; I bought them to wear, but in the end I only wear one or two," but Kim Hee-cheul hurriedly closed the door, saying, "The smell makes it impossible," which caused uproarious laughter.
As the mood heated up, Kim Hee-cheul mentioned the "premarital chastity pledge" that had come to symbolize Kang Kyun-sung. Kang Kyun-sung said he had an actual pledge written in 2011 and went to find it, and Kim Hee-cheul read it with a mischievous reaction.
Looking at the pledge, Kang Kyun-sung soon said, "It's inadequate. I'm embarrassed," showing a meaningful reaction, and when Kim Hee-cheul, not missing the cue, asked, "You didn't keep it?" Kang Kyun-sung coolly admitted, "I didn't keep it," turning the scene into a sea of laughter. He added, "How long should I wait? I'm 46," delivering a reality-check line.
