Actor Oh Yoon-ah delivered a heartwarming message of hope to parents of children with developmental disabilities at her son Min's graduation ceremony.
On the afternoon of the 25th, a video titled '[Oh!Yoon-ah] Special school for developmental disabilities Milal School congratulatory graduation #OhYoonah #SongMin #Min #MilalSchool #graduationceremony #graduationvlog #developmentaldisability' was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Oh!Yoon-ah.'
Watching Min, who wore a mortarboard, grow that day, Oh Yoon-ah recalled the past and candidly shared her feelings. She said, "When Min was in elementary school, he used to bite children he didn't know," and confessed that during the filming of 'Pyeonstorang' in the past he once grabbed a crew member by the hair or tore clothing, admitting those were never easy times.
But Oh Yoon-ah did not remain stuck in past pain. She said, "From age 20 children go through rapid growth. At that time they absorb activities and there are suddenly many friends who start speaking," and looked positively toward Min's future as an adult.
She went on to emphasize, "Our i-dle have vision after 20. So it's okay to have big hopes," offering sincere comfort and courage to parents in the same situation.
