The group ENHYPEN (ENHYPEN) once again secured a top position on the U.S. Billboard main chart, solidifying its status as a "global top-tier group."
According to a chart preview article Billboard posted on its official website on the 25th (local time), ENHYPEN (Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Ni-ki)'s mini 7th album "THE SIN : VANISH" entered the latest "Billboard 200" (Jan. 31) at No. 2.
Billboard explained, "'THE SIN : VANISH' sold 113,000 copies, ranking No. 1 on 'top album sales,' and its SEA units (streaming-equivalent album units) were calculated at 9,000. In particular, the official streaming count for the album's tracks during the tracking period reached 9.51 million, setting a new team record."
With this, ENHYPEN has placed six albums consecutively in the Billboard 200 top 10. These include mini 7th "THE SIN : VANISH," mini 3rd "MANIFESTO : DAY 1" (No. 6), mini 4th "DARK BLOOD" (No. 4), mini 5th "ORANGE BLOOD" (No. 4), full-length 2nd "ROMANCE : UNTOLD" (No. 2), and mini 6th "DESIRE : UNLEASH" (No. 3). This marks ENHYPEN's ninth entry on the chart.
ENHYPEN achieved over 2.07 million copies sold in the first week of release of "THE SIN : VANISH," producing the group's fourth "double million seller" in total. The album performed well on domestic and international charts: it topped the Hanteo weekly album chart (tracking period Jan. 12-18), as well as Japan's Line Music weekly "album top 100" (tracking period Jan. 14-20) and the Oricon daily album ranking (Jan. 21).
ENHYPEN concluded this album's music show promotions successfully on the 25th by performing the follow-up track "Big Girls Don't Cry" on SBS' Inkigayo. After showcasing fierce charisma and precise sword-like choreography with the title track "Knife," they demonstrated their broad concept versatility as a "talented group" by delivering a witty and groovy contrast with "Big Girls Don't Cry."
