Singer and actor Lee Junyoung has been cast in the new drama "Four Hands."
Lee Junyoung has confirmed he will play Choi Jeong-yo in tvN's new drama "Four Hands," written by Shin I-won, directed by Park Hyun-seok, and produced by Studio Dragon, Studio N, and Namooactors Entertainment, which will premiere in the second half of this year.
'Four Hands' is a drama about the friendship, love, competition and growth of youths who meet at an arts high school made up only of musical prodigies. Director Park Hyun-seok, who showed sensitive directing in a variety of genres such as "Uncontrollably Fond," "Stranger 2," and "Hometown," and writer Shin I-won, who delicately depicted the psychology and ensemble of human relationships through "Green Mothers' Club," have come together, drawing even more attention.
In "Four Hands," Lee Junyoung plays piano prodigy Choi Jeong-yo. Choi Jeong-yo, who suddenly appears at Korea Arts High School, where only prodigies gather, is a character who had shunned his talent due to an unfortunate background, and he unexpectedly meets the piano genius who long ago made his heart race and becomes immersed in a strange emotion.
So far, Lee Junyoung has proven his acting ability by portraying a variety of characters from villains to romances across genres. Through the new drama "Four Hands," he is expected to show a different kind of acting alongside the piano and display his chameleon charm.
Whether Choi Jeong-yo can rekindle his hidden talent and the intense performance Lee Junyoung will deliver as he writes the character's story are drawing curiosity.
The tvN new drama "Four Hands," starring Lee Junyoung, is scheduled to premiere in the second half of this year.
