Dynamic Duo connected with audiences of all generations for the third consecutive year with "Let's occasionally see each other for a long time."
Dynamic Duo (Gaeko, Choiza) successfully held their nationwide tour concert "Let's occasionally see each other for a long time," starting in Busan on Dec. 20 and 21 last year, then Daegu on the 24th, Gwangju on the 27th, and Seoul on Jan. 23, 24 and 25.
In particular, "Let's occasionally see each other for a long time," held last week at Jangchung Arena in Jung-gu, Seoul, was Dynamic Duo's first concert of the new year and the finale of this tour, creating a heated atmosphere. After the concert title and the track from their seventh studio album, "Let's occasionally see each other for a long time," played as the intro, Dynamic Duo appeared and presented a festival-like time of jumping and enjoying with the audience through a stage packed with legendary hit songs.
Dynamic Duo continued a parade of hit songs with passionate stage manner and unabashed hip-hop energy, including "Chulchek," "Excited?", "Pitapa," and "Don't block the road." With "Resumes rewritten," "Same old," "The bastard," and "Insomnia," they delivered resonance through their characteristic sincere sensibility and messages anyone can relate to. Their signature long-running hits that crossed generations, "AEAO (EAO)" and "Singsungsaengsung," also prompted singalongs.
Also, each show featured lavish guest support. On the 23rd, Park Jin-Young, Lee Young-ji, HOOK, joined; on the 24th, Sung Si Kyung, Park Jae-beom, Sins, Monika, LIP J joined to heat the venue with spectacular stages. On the 25th, Epik High, Jung In, Sins, and Bebe appeared and elicited enthusiastic responses. Dynamic Duo performed "Smoke" with Lee Young-ji, Sins, and Bebe; "Ssaekkeunhae" with HOOK; "Confession" with Jung In; and "BAAAM (Bam)" and "Fireworks" with Monika and LIP J, adding to the enjoyment.
Over the weekend, the rookie girl group H//PE Princess, formed through the Mnet Korea-Japan joint project "Unpretty Rapstar: Hip-pop Princess," took the opening stage and increased the viewing fun with fresh energy. In particular, Gaeko participated as the main producer of "Unpretty Rapstar: Hip-pop Princess" and is reported to have also produced the title track of H//PE Princess's debut album, raising expectations for their future musical synergy.
The "Let's occasionally see each other for a long time" concert, which has continued successfully for three consecutive years since 2023, is cementing its reputation as a branded show with Dynamic Duo's unique live performance and chemistry. For this third season, with expanded locations and scale, they drew praise by connecting with more audiences through a highly complete program and plentiful visual attractions.
After successfully completing their domestic shows, Dynamic Duo will meet global fans with their second Japan solo concerts "Let's continue to see each other occasionally" in Tokyo on March 14 and Osaka on March 28.
Meanwhile, Dynamic Duo's 2014 track "AEAO" reappeared on global music charts such as Shazam, Apple Music, iTunes and TikTok, marking K-hip-hop's first three consecutive years of long-running resurgence following its initial reverse chart run in 2023. The song was featured twice in the NBA 2K series soundtrack, from the U.S. NBA game "NBA 2K16" to the latest title "NBA 2K26," proving its enduring prominence as a well-made K-hip-hop signature song.
