Actor Ha Jun has been cast in tvN's new Wed-Thu drama Our Universe.
tvN's new Wed-Thu drama Our Universe (directed by Lee Hyun-seok·Jung Yeo-jin, written by Sujin·Shin I-hyun, planned by Studio Dragon, produced by Scene & Studio Co., Ltd.) is a topsy-turvy cohabitation romance that unfolds when a mismatched in-law couple, whose meeting goes awry from the start, suddenly has to raise a 20-month-old nephew named Uju (played by Park Yoo-ho) overnight.
Ha Jun plays Sun Woo-jin, the older brother of Sun Tae-hyung (played by Bae In Hyuk). He marries Uhyun-jin's (played by Roh Jeong-Eui) only family member, sister Woo Hyun-joo (played by Park Ji-hyun), and one day unexpectedly faces an unforeseen accident.
In particular, the teaser released on the 16th captured Sun Woo-jin unable to hide his embarrassment upon seeing Sun Tae-hyung at the meeting, drawing attention. With a dark complexion as he faced his younger brother, viewers are left wondering what hidden story he might have, and the strange dynamic between the two brothers is heightening expectations for the broadcast.
Ha Jun first gained recognition as the rookie detective Kang Hong Suk in the 2017 film The Outlaws, and through numerous works such as the dramas Yukryongi Narsha, Black Dog, Missing: The Other Side, High Class, and Destined with You, he has shown a wide acting spectrum.
Recently, Ha Jun earned praise for steadily leading the long-form drama as Kang Tae-ho, the male lead in KBS2's weekend drama Live Your Own Life, and has shown diverse charms across genres with special appearances in the dramas Shin's Project and The Confidence Man KR and by playing Henry Lodge in the play Mrs. McCam.
The tvN new Wed-Thu drama Our Universe, featuring Ha Jun, will premiere on Feb. 4 (Wed) at 10:40 p.m.
