Actor Lee Jung-ha enlisted in the Marine Corps today (26th) to fulfill his defense duties.
Lee Jung-ha will enter the Marine Corps training unit on this day. Earlier, his agency Namooactors Entertainment said, "Actor Lee Jung-ha applied to the Marine Corps, received notification of acceptance, and is scheduled to enter the training unit on Jan. 26, 2026."
The agency said, "Because the enlistment day is an occasion attended by many soldiers and family members, no separate official event will be held," and asked, "We thank fans for their unwavering support and ask for warm encouragement for Lee Jung-ha, who will complete his dutiful service and return having grown."
Born in 1998, Lee Jung-ha debuted in the 2017 web drama "Heart Attack Warning" and gradually built his filmography in productions such as "Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung," "Run On," and "Nevertheless." In particular, he drew wide public recognition for his impressive performance as Kim Bong-seok in the Disney+ series "Moving."
However, his enlistment leaves some disappointment. With Lee Jung-ha unable to join the confirmed production of "Moving" season 2, viewers' regret over the absence of Kim Bong-seok, a central character in the drama, has grown.
