Song Kang, Lee Junyoung and Jang Gyuri depict the intense and brilliant harmony of youth in "Four Hands."
The new tvN drama Four Hands, which will premiere in the second half of 2026 (written by Shin Iwon / directed by Park Hyunseok / produced by Studio Dragon, Studio N, Namooactors Entertainment), is a drama that depicts the friendship, love, rivalry and growth of youths who met at an arts high school attended only by musical prodigies.
Director Park Hyunseok, who showed stylish directing across diverse genres including Uncontrollably Fond, Stranger 2 and Hometown, and writer Shin Iwon, who delicately depicted the psychology and array of human relationships through Green Mothers' Club, have come together to draw attention. In addition, actors Song Kang, Lee Junyoung and Jang Gyuri, each with different charms, will meet as youths entangled by music in the story, promising a powerful synergy.
First, Song Kang plays piano prodigy Kang Biao, a perfectionist whose elegant appearance, grades and piano skills all remain top-ranked. In addition to natural talent, his diligence in practice made him regarded as a future star poised to sweep the world's three major competitions, when he encounters a rival who suddenly shakes Kang Biao's musical life to its core. Expectations are high for Song Kang's performance portraying the anguish of the hardworking musical genius Kang Biao.
Kang Biao's rival and piano prodigy Choi Jeongyo is played by Lee Junyoung. Choi Jeongyo is a character who neglected his talent and lived because of an unfortunate background. Choi Jeongyo, who suddenly appears at Korea Arts High School, where only prodigies gather, unexpectedly meets the piano genius who once made his heart beat and becomes immersed in a strange emotion. Whether Choi Jeongyo can bloom his hidden talent again and Lee Junyoung's passionate performance that will write Choi Jeongyo's story are eagerly anticipated.
Also, Jang Gyuri transforms into viola major Hong Jaein, who has a sensitive sense of hearing. Hong Jaein, who has an outstanding musical sense able to catch a beautiful melody at once, is searching for music that satisfies her ears but is in a difficult situation. Because of this, she becomes a close friend who supports and cherishes Kang Biao's music that has satisfied her hearing since childhood. Attention is focused on Jang Gyuri's new side that will express the charm of the lovable supporter Hong Jaein.
Thus, Four Hands will deliver a thrilling dopamine rush as the three youths with outstanding musical talent — Kang Biao, Choi Jeongyo and Hong Jaein — clash fiercely and grow against the backdrop of Korea Arts High School. From friendship that begins with competition to romance that melts between them, and the ensemble performance they create, viewers are looking forward to the first broadcast of Four Hands, which will satisfy both eyes and ears.
