"Love Catcher" Kim Jiyeon is preparing to divorce baseball player Jeong Cheolwon one month after the wedding.
Kim Jiyeon hinted at a divorce on her personal social media on the 24th.
She communicated directly while holding a Q&A with fans that day. Among them, "I tried to endure this time too, but after running away and then filing a lawsuit to unilaterally get custody, as a mother I realized I shouldn't endure anymore. Later she gave birth to a son with Lotte Giants pitcher Jeong Cheolwon in 2024. She also said, "Since our baby was a newborn, when he came home from work he would go into the master bedroom and use his phone until he slept or go to a PC room; that was treated as no big deal, and I guess I was sensitive because of hormones. In addition, although we both work, I alone handled housework, childcare and my own work and it was so hard that I sent an SOS about five times at dawn, and if a game that day didn't go well I would be told it was my fault; I was sensitive then and cried, but now that I think about it it all seems true," sarcastically exposing Jeong Cheolwon's lack of devotion to the family.
Even signs of Jeong Cheolwon's affair surfaced. Fans claiming to have received private direct messages from Jeong Cheolwon during the wedding preparation period appeared. Kim Jiyeon added, "I roughly know and ask you to submit tips," and added, "To avoid misunderstanding, there is already sufficient evidence in every part.
