The group IVE unveiled the final installment of its coming soon film, marking the prelude to its comeback.
Starship Entertainment posted the new album coming soon film "group" and "director's cut" sequentially on IVE (Ahn Yujin, Gaeul, Ray, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, Leeseo) official SNS channels on the 24th.
The first released video begins with a striking guitar riff and the appearance of Liz's signature red old car. In the video, IVE evokes curiosity about the new release with steps that seem to be heading somewhere.
The director's cut video then organically weaves previously unreleased cuts from the member films to complete a cinematic film like an omnibus series. Starting with Jang Wonyoung crossing a corridor in a white trench coat and exuding an overwhelming aura in various poses, the video continues with Leeseo pulling a glitter-spilling carry-on through a tunnel while wearing a pink dress and sunglasses, piquing curiosity.
Also grabbing attention were Ray holding a microphone and singing or making various expressions while looking into a mirror, and Liz getting into the red old car and leaving somewhere. The film then alternates between Gaeul immersed in performance as glitter scatters under purple lighting and Ahn Yujin bursting into a playful laugh while holding a hair dryer, completing a coming soon film that captures six members' six different charms.
In particular, in the middle of the video Ray looks at a calendar and leaves a clear mark on a specific date, adding to the curiosity. At the end of the video a sharp alarm sound rings out, and at the same time the phrase COMING SOON and the words REVIVE+ (리바이브) fill the screen, raising expectations for the new release IVE will present to a peak.
Ahead of their comeback with the new release, IVE perfectly digested a variety of concepts and heightened excitement for the comeback through coming soon films that capture each member's charm. With the word REVIVE+ revealed and fueling various domestic and international fan speculations, attention is focused on what new "IVE syndrome" IVE will continue with this new release.
IVE will release a pre-release track on Feb. 9 ahead of its comeback at the end of next month.
