Actor Han Ji-il reported that he lost his money and is living as a basic livelihood security recipient.

That day Han Ji-il recalled his heyday when he achieved great success producing the erotic film series "The milkwoman." In response, Lee Dong-jun said, "I understand you made a lot of money from the video production business," and Han Ji-il said, "I earned a tremendous amount. I swept up the money."

He added, "I went to the U.S. and worked at 72 jobs. While doing that I even worked as a head manager. I looked for 27 kinds of jobs because I was over 60 at the time. I wondered whether I could still be acknowledged after turning 60, so I tried 27 workplaces," he said.
Lee Dong-jun said, "You had the means for business but it didn't come together," and Han Ji-il confessed, "Looking back, I don't know how to handle money. Even now I don't know how to make money. I'm a basic livelihood security recipient, but I'm not greedy for money."
Then Lee Dong-jun wondered, "Can you make a living on that, as a basic livelihood security recipient?" and Han Ji-il said, "There's money that comes from being a basic livelihood security recipient, right? And having lived in the U.S. for 10 years, I also receive the taxes I paid there here," he said.
Lee Dong-jun asked in surprise, "You must have renounced your citizenship, right?" and Han Ji-il said, "Still, there were taxes I paid, weren't there? That comes out. National pension.
