HYBE-Gepen Records joint girl group KATSEYE continues to show a powerful presence on major global charts beyond the United States.
According to the latest U.K. Official Charts (Jan. 23-29) released on Jan. 23 (local time), KATSEYE's "Internet Girl" ranked 55th on the Official Singles Top 100, marking its third consecutive week on the chart.
"Internet Girl" is a fan favorite track rather than an official single, but it set the group's own highest chart position (24) in its first week of release. Its flashy dance-pop sound, addictive hook, lyrics satirizing internet culture and a signature choreography that cleverly expresses that theme have been loved by music fans.
KATSEYE's strength shines even more on global audio and music streaming platform Spotify. The B-side track "Gabriela" from their second EP "BEAUTIFUL CHAOS" ranked 24th on Spotify's Weekly Top Songs Global (Jan. 16-22) this week. It has charted for an astonishing 31 consecutive weeks.
These two songs are also very popular on the U.S. Billboard charts. In the recently updated U.S. Billboard main song chart Hot 100, "Gabriela" was 24th and "Internet Girl" was 59th (Jan. 24), showing dual success. Earlier, another previous release, "Gnarly," climbed back onto the chart, resulting in three of their songs entering the Hot 100 at once (Jan. 17).
KATSEYE's sharp rise in popularity can be inferred from Spotify's monthly listeners metric. According to Spotify's latest tally (Dec. 26, 2025-Jan. 22, 2026), KATSEYE's monthly listeners total 37,254,690. That is the highest figure among girl groups worldwide for the same period. It is notable that the number of listeners has steadily increased despite an inactive period.
KATSEYE was formed through the audition project The Debut: Dream Academy based on the "K-pop methodology" and debuted in the United States in June 2024. Considered a representative success of the "multi-home, multi-genre" strategy led by HYBE chairman Bang Si-hyuk, they were nominated in two categories — Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance — at the 68th Grammy Awards to be held next month.
