'Jun Hyun-moo plan 3' Jun Hyun-moo–Gwak Tube, together with 'food friend' Han Ji-eun, offered rich information and enjoyment with a food trip uncovering hidden restaurants in Gwangyang, the "heaven of gastronomy."
On the 23rd (Fri), in the 15th episode of the full-fledged real street food documentary 'Jun Hyun-moo plan 3' (MBN·Channel S·SK Broadband co-production), Jun Hyun-moo–Gwak Tube (Gwak Jun-bin) and the "surprising glutton" Han Ji-eun set out on a food trip in Gwangyang, South Jeolla. They discovered a clams specialty restaurant for the first time on 'Jun Hyun-moo plan,' and after galchi jjim·grilled fish restaurants, they swept through authentic Gwangyang bulgogi, properly pressing viewers' appetite buttons.
That day Gwak Tube mentioned Jun Hyun-moo's 'entertainment awards' win and offered congratulations. Jun Hyun-moo modestly replied, "It's the award I least expected to receive in my life." Then Gwak Tube announced a double celebration, saying, "Our writer and the producer are dating, and the writer, the audio director, and the director will also be getting married soon," and Jun Hyun-moo lamented, "How many couples? I'm going crazy. Is this a program that shares all my romance luck?" which drew a bittersweet laugh. Regaining composure, Jun Hyun-moo said, "Since we're in Gwangyang, one of South Jeolla's representative cities, let's have the first meal be jaecheopguk," and took Gwak Tube to a '55-year tradition' clams specialty restaurant. The two received a Jeolla-style table set with everything from raw clams to soup and exclaimed with genuine admiration, "This is a delicacy!"
Afterward Jun Hyun-moo hinted, "Now let's go meet the 'food friend.' Today's 'food friend' is an actress who calls herself 'Dol+I'," and the actress who appeared shortly after was Han Ji-eun. Han Ji-eun coolly laughed, "I've heard the term 'Dol+I' a lot," and Jun Hyun-moo testified with a laugh, "I recently met her by chance and played pickleball together about three times, and I felt that energy from how she stretched her legs to win," which added to the hilarity. The three then headed to a galchi jjim·grilled fish spot known only to locals and started mukbang. The surprising glutton Han Ji-eun, who can eat up to 'six hamburgers,' took a bite of grilled flatfish and said, "It's so delicious. I feel like I have to start again," deftly flaking the fish, and Jun Hyun-moo immediately filmed her mukbang and praised, "Pretty. This is a life shot~."
After the warm mukbang, Jun Hyun-moo finally suggested going to eat 'Gwangyang bulgogi.' Although she had just finished a meal, Han Ji-eun applauded, and the three went to a '70-year tradition' local favorite located in an old-school neighborhood instead of a famous alley. At the restaurant Han Ji-eun took out books she had prepared for the two. She gave Gwak Jun-bin 'Meditations,' saying, "Because Jun-bin has had ups and downs," and handed Jun Hyun-moo a book called 'Dark Psychology,' saying, "Because you're sensitive to trends~." Jun Hyun-moo joked, "Are you giving it because I'm dark? Or because it's a dark situation?" which sent everyone into laughter.
A short while later, the three roasted Gwangyang bulgogi over a charcoal brazier, ate it with pickled plums and scallion kimchi, and burst into applause. Jun Hyun-moo marveled, "Number one among all bulgogi! It's less famous than its taste deserves." He then asked, "I'm the type who recharges energy at home. What about you, Ji-eun?" Han Ji-eun replied, "I also need time alone," and Gwak Tube agreed, "I also make my alone time into gaming time." Then Jun Hyun-moo activated his 'newlywed teasing' and said, "Alone time? You don't have that anymore," and sensing danger, Gwak Tube hastily soothed, "I'm so happy. I don't need alone time anymore." Still, Jun Hyun-moo pushed again, "You have a wife and you play games?" to which Han Ji-eun defended, "It's better than doing something reckless elsewhere," drawing laughs.
As the atmosphere heated up, Jun Hyun-moo brought up college days, saying to Han Ji-eun, "Your college class was the 'dream team,' and I've heard you're the dream team especially at blind dates," and Han Ji-eun revealed, "I was classmates with Jeon So-min, Jeon Yeo-been, and Lee Joo-been," and self-disclosed, "So-min and I were the blind-date dream team, and (after a blind date) So-min was jealous of me." When the topic of blind dates came up, Jun Hyun-moo recalled, "I used to go on blind dates often, and I would pull out the latest pager as a personal item to flaunt wealth," but he lamented, "One day after a '2;2 blind date' I wrote my pager number on a note and gave it (to a woman), and I saw her throw that note away on the street after she parted from us," which evoked sympathy.
As the Gwangyang food trip ended wistfully with nostalgic talk, the teaser that followed captured Jun Hyun-moo–Gwak Tube's food trip to Yeosu, the 'city of romance,' raising expectations for the next episode.
