Group ENHYPEN member Sunghoon will participate as a torchbearer for the "2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics," which opens next month on the 6th (local time), Belift Lab Inc. said on the 24th.
Sunghoon will take part at the recommendation of the Olympics' official sponsor, Samsung Electronics. He has a deep connection to winter sports. Before his debut, he served as a reserve member of the national figure skating team, and since last year he has served as a public relations ambassador for the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee (KSOC), acting as a bridge connecting the public and sports. With both the experience of an athlete and the influence of an artist, Sunghoon will convey a message of peace and friendship that unites the world through this torch relay.
Only two K-pop artists, including Sunghoon, have participated in Olympic torch relays held abroad. His stature is highlighted by being invited to an international big event. Meanwhile, ENHYPEN, to which Sunghoon belongs, is enjoying top global popularity with original album storytelling and overwhelming performance skills.
