Rock band Eve expressed longing for the late Wheesung.
On the 23rd, KBS2 The Seasons 10CM's Ssedamssedam featured rock band Eve as guests performing on stage.
That day, 10CM (Ten Centimeters) Kwon Jung-yeol asked in the talk after the performance, "As of the recording date, a brand-new single was released today. But they said they won't sing this song today, so at least introduce it at length and in depth," he said.
In response, G. Gorilla said, "This is a song I worked on with Wheesung, who is now in heaven. It's a song called 'Time Machine' and today it was newly released in Eve's version. Please show a lot of interest and listen, and if you think of that friend once more while listening, I think that friend would like it," he said. Even while explaining the song, he seemed to choke up as he remembered the late Wheesung.
'Time Machine' is a track included on Wheesung's sixth studio album released in 2009, and it is a song that G. Gorilla wrote, composed, and arranged himself. Eve released a remake version of this song on the 20th of last month.
Kim Se-heon said, "At first, I felt very burdened to sing this song. I wondered how to express it more. While singing it I kept thinking about it and shed a lot of tears," adding, "So it became a more tender song, and I think that feeling can be conveyed when you listen to it."
Meanwhile, the late Wheesung was found dead at his home in Gwangjin District, Seoul, in March last year. He was 43. The National Forensic Service's autopsy reportedly found no signs of criminal suspicion.
