'In Your Radiant Season' released the first stills of Han Ji-hyun, announcing the birth of a youthful character.
MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama 'In Your Radiant Season,' scheduled to premiere on Feb. 20 at 9:50 p.m. (planning Namgung Seong-woo, screenplay Cho Seong-hee, directors Jeong Sang-hee, Kim Young-jae, production Pan Entertainment), is a work that depicts an unpredictable "radiant" romance in which a man named "Chan," who lives every day like an exciting summer vacation, and a woman named "Ran," who has locked herself in winter, meet as if by fate and awaken frozen time.
In the drama, Han Ji-hyun plays Song Ha-young, a junior designer in Nana Atelier Design Team 1 and the second of three sisters. Ha-young, who has a free-spirited fashion sense, a frank way of speaking, and a down-to-earth and cheerful personality, exudes an innocent charm with her playful side. Believing that the house won't run if she is not there, Song Ha-young positions herself as the mood maker between her older sister Song Ha-ran (Lee Sung-kyoung) and the youngest Song Ha-dam (Oh Yeju), and cherishes her family more than anyone.
In the stills released on the 23rd, Han Ji-hyun captured Song Ha-young's bold appearance with casual styling and an unreserved expression. From sitting with her arms crossed in the design office to a serious look immersed in her work, her focus hidden within a free-spirited attitude and her potential as a designer naturally emerge.
In particular, Song Ha-young protects her sister Ha-ran in her own way in the face of her grandmother Kim Nana (Lee Mi-Sook)'s method of pushing Ha-ran too hard, and she carries warm consideration within her unreserved energy. With the third-year high schooler Ha-dam, she openly argues yet takes care of her more affectionately than anyone, which is expected to draw empathy from real-life sisters.
The production team said, "Han Ji-hyun expressed the balanced aspects of Song Ha-young, from her bright and hearty energy to the delicate emotions hidden beneath," and said, "Although she looks solid on the outside, the story of 'K-second' Song Ha-young, who stands on the threshold of growth, will deliver both empathy and excitement to viewers, so please look forward to it."
