TOMORROW X TOGETHER heated up Tokyo Dome.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Hueningkai) held the 'TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR
The area near the venue was filled with a festive atmosphere from early in the day. Their music could be heard everywhere and fans sang along as they waited for the concert. Local media interest was also intense. About 30 outlets attended the concert on the 21st, showing enthusiastic coverage. Major newspapers such as Sports Hochi, Daily Sports and Nikkan Sports produced special editions over the two days and featured TOMORROW X TOGETHER on their front pages.
The show opened amid tremendous cheers. TOMORROW X TOGETHER opened with the title track 'LO=LO♡ER' (Loser Lover) from the repackaged version of their second full-length album, "The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE." When they approached the audience in a moving vehicle, the atmosphere immediately heated up. During the digital single 'Love Language' a roar echoed through the large venue. True to the song that shows TOMORROW X TOGETHER's refreshing style, the five members' fresh facial expressions and acting were a highlight.
Powerful stages that raised the heat also stood out. 'Danger' completed an overwhelming scene with multi-dancer performance and pillars of fire. Stage direction that focused on each member's dance lines added to the visual enjoyment. When the title track 'Can't Stop' and the track 'Where Do You Go' from their Japan full-length third album 'Starkissed', released last Oct., rang out, the audience naturally sang along. Chorus singing continued regardless of Japanese or Korean. A gift-like moment that could only be seen at Tokyo Dome was also prepared. Hueningkai surprised the audience by singing 'Orange' by Japan's representative band Spyair, adding a different kind of enjoyment. His clear, refreshing voice drew applause from fans.
Near the end of the show the five members said sincerely, "It's been a long time since we stood on the Tokyo Dome stage. We are truly happy thanks to MOA (the fandom name) for filling these vast seats. No matter how many times we go on stage, every moment is new and precious. Thank you for always coming to see us."
TOMORROW X TOGETHER, including the encore, ran for more than three hours, proving once again the power of a 'stageteller' (a blend of stage and storyteller). Their tireless live performances and energy left a deep impression even after the show ended.
Having successfully completed the Tokyo Dome shows, TOMORROW X TOGETHER will conclude their Japan tour in Osaka on Feb. 7-8. Before that, they will perform in Taipei on Jan. 31-Feb. 1 and in Kuala Lumpur on Feb. 14.
