Singer and broadcaster Lee Sang-min moved viewers by sharing a touching story about actor Cha Seung-won, who quietly took care of him during his difficult times.
Recently, Lee Sang-min's YouTube channel "Producer Lee Sang-min" featured SF9 Jaeyoon and Kim Dong-jun of ZE:A as guests, showing them sharing stories about their debut days and audition experiences. The three talked about the second- to third-generation eras of the music industry and looked back on each of their first starts.
On the day, Kim Dong-jun recalled, "When I was 17 I went to a song festival at Daejeon Broadcasting Station with a friend and was cast," and Jaeyoon said, "I debuted at 23 because I wanted to help my family."
Listening to their stories, Lee Sang-min looked at Jaeyoon and unexpectedly remembered someone, then spoke up. He said, "He has a Cha Seung-won vibe in his face," and opened by saying, "That person is really a kind person."
Then Lee Sang-min recalled, "There was a time when I really felt exhausted, poor and that my life was ruined." He said, "At that time Seung-won hyung contacted the coach I was seeing directly and asked, 'Please teach Sang-min well,'" and added, "I still remember the heart that helped me with no conditions."
Lee Sang-min said, "The face of someone you are thankful to stays for a long time," and added, "In those days, that kind of consideration was the strength that kept me going." Hearing this, Jaeyoon also showed a moved reaction, saying, "I am truly honored."
Previously, Lee Sang-min has said several times that he began repaying about 6.9 billion won of debt from 2005 after failing in business. Last year he received much support after announcing on a broadcast that he had cleared all his debts after 20 years.
