The group IVE is raising comeback excitement by releasing a coming soon film for Liz.
Starship Entertainment posted the new release coming soon film "Liz" on the group's official social media on the 22nd, featuring IVE (An Yujin, Ga-eul, Ray, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, Leeseo).
The released video shines on a red-colored car stopped in an alley plunged into pitch-black darkness, creating tension from the outset. Liz, staring somewhere while facing intense red lighting inside the car, completed a cool yet deadly atmosphere. Liz's deep red lips filling the screen and their dreamily scattering smile formed a vivid visual contrast and boosted immersion.
Next, Liz closes the trunk after a rough ripping sound, calls someone, then starts the car and leaves the scene, adding the thrill of watching a noir film. A "MISSING" poster left where they departed, featuring Liz's portrait and wording instructing anyone with information to call IVE—"CALL TO IVE"—amplified curiosity.
In particular, this video revealed links to the previously released Ray coming soon film, prompting strong reactions from fans. It was revealed that the poster in the frame on the wall in Ray's film was Liz's "MISSING" poster. In this way, IVE has been building a tight narrative through cinematic visuals and various symbolic elements in each film—whistle sounds, eyewitness accounts, posters—raising curiosity about the new release. In addition, an addictive guitar riff and a countdown announcing Feb. 9 at 6 p.m. continued, heightening interest in the pre-release track and comeback excitement.
Since debut, Liz, who has been loved and nicknamed the "vocal tone fairy" for her bright and clear vocals, has expanded her activity spectrum through IVE activities as well as participation in drama and animation OSTs and various broadcasts.
