Singer Kim Jong Kook held a New Year's kick-off meeting with the Running Man producers.
On the 22nd, a video titled "This year's PD gathering as always… (Feat. Running Man PD)" was uploaded to the "Kim Jong Kook GYM JONG KOOK" channel.
He organized the current Running Man PD hierarchy and began introductions starting with new main PD Kang Hyung-sun, who joined in place of PD Choi Hyung-in, who stepped down ahead of childbirth. The fifth was PD Son Su-wan in charge of Jee Seokjin.
Kim Jong Kook asked, "I really cherish and love Seokjin hyung. Wansu is kind," and then asked, "Seokjin hyung didn't win an award again this time (at the entertainment awards). How did you feel?" PD Son Su-wan answered, "In my heart he was the grand prize winner," and Kim Jong Kook asked, "There's a story that in the past Seokjin hyung cried when he didn't win an award. Didn't you tell that story?"
PD Son Su-wan replied, "Where did you hear that?" and said, "That's an excuse because he won the grand prize somewhere else, but he cried when he received it here," to which Kim Jong Kook said, "Don't lie," and PD Son Su-wan laughed, saying, "Because he was happy."
