'Brave Detective 4' traces the truth behind the mysterious 'Boracay murder case'.
On the 23rd, T-cast E Channel's 'Brave Detective 4' (directed by Lee Ji-seon) episode 68 features former superintendent Yoon Oe-chul of the scientific investigation unit (KCSI), Inspector Kim Jin Soo, Sergeant Yoon Jeong-ah, and detectives Koo Young-jae, Lee Geon-ho, and Park Soo-beom, who reveal the investigation log. This broadcast continues from last week with singer Hanhae appearing as a guest.
The case introduced in this broadcast begins when bereaved family members, who said their son suddenly died after traveling to Boracay several months earlier, visit detectives from the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency's international crime investigation unit. According to the friend who traveled with the son, they drank until dawn and fell asleep, and when they woke up in the morning they found the son dead. Locally, the cause of death was presumed to be acute heart failure, and the body was cremated without an autopsy. Afterwards, the bereaved family received the son's ashes through the friend.
But while cleaning the son's home, the family discovered that the unmarried son had been insured for as much as 700 million won. In particular, the policy beneficiary was not a family member, the unemployed son had been using most of the insurance payments for living expenses, and it emerged that he also had large debts, raising further questions.
What exactly happened at the travel destination that day, and what truth is hidden behind the death recorded as an accident can be confirmed through 'Brave Detective 4'.
Meanwhile, 'Brave Detective 4' airs every Friday at 9:50 p.m., and is also available on major OTT platforms such as Netflix, TVING, and WAVVE.
