SF9 member Inseong completed official activity for his first solo album.
Inseong released his first mini album Crossfade: on the 14th and promoted the title track "Mute is Off" on music shows. He concluded this album promotion successfully with the MBC M and MBC every1 show "Show! Champion" broadcast on the 21st.
On music shows, Inseong took the stage with a band session and showcased his steady live skills, drawing attention. In particular, his solid vocals and delicate expressiveness conveyed the emotions in the lyrics, leaving a deep impression. In addition, on MBC "Show! Music Core" he performed an ending fairy performance showing the phrase "SF9 10th anniversary big success! Chanhee happy birthday!!" revealing his special affection for the group even during his solo activities.
Also, on the album release day Inseong held a mini live and made unforgettable memories with fans. He performed all the songs on the album live, demonstrating exceptional stage presence. During the Q&A with fans he acted as MC and shared various stories about the album, bringing both laughs and emotion.
The first solo album Crossfade: captures the moment when two different images, the "real me" and the "masked me," collide and gradually overlap. The title track "Mute is Off" is a self-composed song that Inseong participated in writing and composing, and it is a result that shows his musical growth. In addition, five tracks are included in total—"Manchanga," "In the middle of trying to love," "Memories dyed by you," "You were there then, I'm here now"—properly proving his diverse vocal spectrum.
After finishing music show promotions, Inseong will appear solo for the first time on the festival stage at the "2026 First Music Station" on the 31st. He is expected to continue activities moving between solo and SF9 group promotions.
