Group izna has been chosen as an ambassador for "Visa X 2026 MAMA AWARDS," raising its global profile.
The global representative awards ceremony MAMA AWARDS, which has proven K-pop's standing in the world music market, extended its sponsorship with global payment technology corporation Visa through 2029, and izna is drawing attention after being selected as an ambassador for "Visa X 2026 MAMA AWARDS."
At the 2025 MAMA AWARDS held last year, izna not only delivered a flawless live performance but also won the Favorite Rising Artist award, recognizing their potential to lead the next generation of K-pop. izna will participate in a collaborative campaign video produced by MAMA AWARDS and Visa, delivering a message as a global icon that connects fandoms around the world.
Last year izna released their second mini album Not Just Pretty, showcasing izna's multifaceted charm that cannot be defined by a single label and proving their musical growth. The esteemed Italian weekly PANORAMA praised them in an interview as "the discovery K-pop has been waiting for," and British music magazine NME selected the track "Racecar" as one of the "25 best K-pop songs of 2025."
izna is showing a global presence not only in music but also in fashion and beauty. Bang Ji-min was selected as the new model for Japanese women's fashion brand FRAY I.D, and Coco was chosen as the muse for the beauty color brand "colorgram," expanding their activities. In addition, Mai and Coco have confirmed appearances as runway models at major Japanese fashion festivals, receiving various offers and growing as next-generation style leaders.
Meanwhile, izna will hold their first fan concert in Japan, Not Just Pretty, on the 28th and 29th, and will actively communicate with global fans through activities at the start of the year.
