Actors Park Shinhye and Ko Kyung-pyo completed a strikingly present "Neujot" pictorial.
Fashion and beauty magazine Allure Korea on Jan. 22 released the pictorial of Park Shinhye and Ko Kyung-pyo.
In an interview that followed the photoshoot, the two expressed abundant expectation and affection for the project. Park Shinhye said about cable channel tvN's weekend drama Undercover Miss Hong, "When choosing my next project, I think I'm drawn to characters with a different temperature from my previous work. This time I read the script wondering, 'How can I express energy in a slightly different way while still allowing for light laughter?' I thought about it, and Undercover Miss Hong had a concept that was itself interesting. It was thrilling when Geum-bo, who pioneered a barren field, infiltrated as Jang-mi and, saying, 'I don't know anything. But wouldn't this be better if done this way?' showed a brazen charm with added confidence. There are quite a few things that were right then and wrong now," pointing out the viewing points of the work.
Ko Kyung-pyo also said, "I was glad to see the faces of the people appearing with me. The fun on set exceeded expectations, and it was such a good experience that I wondered, 'How would I have spent that time if I hadn't done this project then?' I filled my time as a joyful character," conveying the enjoyable atmosphere on set.
Through this project, the two reunited 13 years after My Cute Guys and freely expressed praise and respect for each other. Park Shinhye said, "The Kyung-pyo I remember from 13 years ago was an incredibly energetic 'kka-bul-ee.' Meeting him again on set, his wit was the same, but he had become more earnest and handsome. In every scene together, he acted with real taste and enjoyment," adding that having a colleague with similar concerns made her feel more reassured.
Ko Kyung-pyo said, "He was and still is a friend from whom I have a lot to learn. He is a model actor. Watching Shinhye on set, I was truly full of respect and leaned on her a lot emotionally," expressing respect for Park Shinhye's attitude.
