Chef Yoon Na-ra, who appeared as Brewmaster Yun in Netflix's Culinary Class Wars 2, shared her thoughts on appearing after the segment of Salon Drip featuring Im Seong-keun was publicly canceled amid controversy over Im Seong-keun's drunk driving.
Yoon Na-ra posted several photos on her social media on the 21st with the caption "Salon Drip was truly a wonderful time."
The released photos show Chef Yoon posing with Salon Drip MC Jang Do-youn and smiling as she receives a bouquet prepared by the production staff.
She expressed her gratitude, saying, "Jang Do-youn unni was so pretty and kind. I should recommend some good restaurants to her… hope to see her again! Thanks to the TEO Salon Drip production staff for their hospitality."
Chef Yoon runs a restaurant called 'Yoonjudang' in Haebangchon and is also well known as a traditional liquor expert. Having reached the top 5 of Culinary Class Wars 2 and demonstrated the strength of Korean cuisine, she previously appeared on Salon Drip with Im Seong-keun, with whom she teamed up in the Culinary Class Wars 2 TOP7 decider in the 2-person, 1-team black-and-white alliance match.
The video was originally scheduled to be released on the 23rd, but Im Seong-keun was embroiled in controversy after it emerged that he had been repeatedly caught for drunk driving in the past, and the Salon Drip footage was ultimately decided to be discarded.
TEO's web variety show Salon Drip said on the day, "The episode featuring Im Seong-keun and Brewmaster Yun that was scheduled to be uploaded on the 23rd will not be released."
