HYBE America will present a series documenting the birth of a next-generation pop group based on HYBE's K-pop methodology in partnership with global creator Alan Chikin Chow and Netflix.
HYBE America said on the 20th (local time) that it has partnered with creator Alan Chikin Chow, who holds the record for the most views on YouTube Shorts worldwide, has over 60 billion video views and 130 million followers, and Netflix to co-produce a scripted series.
The new series tells the story of idol hopefuls who enter an arts academy and form a coed band. It features a solid storyline proven through the YouTube series "Alan's Universe." "Alan's Universe," produced by Alan Chikin Chow, is a drama series about teenagers' love, friendship and proper values, and it is released on the channel of the same name with about 100 million subscribers, boasting more than 1 billion views each month. The cast will release new songs through the series and begin activities as artists.
The core of this project is that it will投入 HYBE's unique K-pop production system and production capabilities. Adding HYBE's K-pop methodology to Alan's solid content planning raises attention as to whether it will spark another global phenomenon following the earlier-born KATSEYE.
