Actor Kim Sang-ho grants MBC new drama '오십프로' with solid acting skills to target living rooms in the first half of 2026.
MBC new drama '오십프로' (Fifties Professionals) is the story of three men who seemed ordinary but had some edge, who are set in motion again by fate; it is a salty action comedy about real pros who have run 50% of their lives, who may have been beaten by the world and whose bodies may have rusted, but whose loyalty and instincts remain unchanged. Each of the three men, who once made their names at the top of their fields, is demoted to the remote island Youngseon-do after "that day's incident," and the show captures their cheerful yet fierce struggle as they track down "the truth of that day," which was shelved for 10 years.
Kim Sang-ho plays Jo Seong-won, the head of the NIS counterintelligence investigation team and the superior of Jeong Ho-myeong (Shin Ha Kyun). Jo Seong-won is a capable agent with outstanding insight and cool judgment, but his upright character, unable to tolerate injustice, puts him out of favor with higher-ups and derails his path to advancement. Kim Sang-ho will showcase his characteristic warm humanity and heavy charisma at the same time, taking on a key role in unraveling the case's knots, adding tension and entertainment to the drama.
