The OST of Project Y released this time was completed under the direction of music director Gray (GRAY). The tense incidents that occur in the heart of the city and the narratives of diverse characters are vividly brought to life through the three-dimensional sound spectrum designed by music director Gray, enhancing immersion. In particular, as music director Gray said he wanted the music to function as an "emotional device" that drives the characters' inner lives and narratives, Project Y's music expresses the characters' hidden romance, deficiencies and precarious tension behind the cold city image in multilayered genres encompassing 1970s soul and jazz R&B, psychedelic and city pop, amplifying the crime-entertaining movie's characteristic rhythm and aftertaste.
