Former announcer-turned-broadcaster Kwak Min-seon expressed anger at the excessive malicious comments directed at her.
On the 21st, Kwak Min-seon posted on her social account "The truth hasn't really been revealed and I haven't responded to any rumors. How is it that they're all just false stories and speculation?"
Along with this, she captured and preserved malicious DMs that were poured in toward her. The capture included "Crime for being a wife. Watch your head in Sangam, I'll hit you with a bat and X you," "That gives me chills. Go to Seoul and be sure to get XXed," "You just do publicity stunts and run away, marry that NiX first �翅杉�. Unbelievable XX" which drew attention for its vulgar insults and criticism.
This is the backlash following reports that Kwak Min-seon's husband, soccer player Song Min-kyu, who had played for Jeonbuk Hyundai, is transferring to FC Seoul. In response to Song Min-kyu's transfer, malicious DMs were sent that shifted responsibility onto his wife, Kwak Min-seon.
Kwak Min-seon expressed her feelings, saying, "He said he would carry it and it would be okay, but I don't think I'm okay." Netizens who saw this also offered support for the two, saying, "Please sue them."
Meanwhile, Kwak Min-seon was a full-time recruited announcer at SPOTV Games and mainly worked in the e-sports field. After signing an exclusive contract with Starit Entertainment in 2022, she expanded her activities as a broadcaster, and last September she appeared on TV CHOSUN's Chosun's lover with her fiancée Song Min-kyu. The two later held their wedding on Dec. 20 last year and became officially married.
