MBN K-bakery survival 'Cheonha Baking' has unveiled the second 10-person lineup, tightly packed with powerful characters, in a surprise reveal.
The MBN 'Cheonha Baking,' which premieres on Feb. 1 at 9:40 p.m., is the first domestic 'K-bakery survival' to select the world's strongest pastry and baking master, leading the craze for 'K-bread' that has become a trend beyond mere food. From masters gathered from all over Paldo Co. to world-class patissiers and underground bakers with ingenious recipes, 72 bakers and pastry chefs from around the world will remove their ranks and engage in a massive global pastry and baking competition that will spread the power of 'K-bread' to astonish the world in the first half of 2026.
Meanwhile, 'Cheonha Baking' has drawn attention by revealing the second 10-person lineup made up of the youngest contestants, famous restaurants and celebrities, and winners of international competitions. First, 'sales master' Im Dong-seok attracts attention for his slow tension, naive manner of speaking, and sell-out record, boasting a strange synchronicity with Culinary Class Wars winner Chef Choi Kang-rok. Also, 14-year-old 'youngest patissier' Kim Gyu-rin, who won the youngest-ever silver medal at the 2025 international culinary and pastry competition, is a talent who heralds the emergence of a second Kim Na-rae.
Also drawing interest as a challenger is Bang Jun-ho, the owner of the 'Mangeop croissant' who became a hot topic as comedian Hong Yun-hwa's cheating day dessert on a recently aired variety show. Moon Bang-geul, a contestant from Love after Divorce 6, appears as a baker who seeks passion instead of love, showcasing the prowess of a baker loved by celebrities who even picked Wendy and Karina. Moreover, 'crazy patissier' Hwang Ji-o, a protégé of star chef Choi Hyun-seok who even received a strong message of encouragement from Choi Hyun-seok, raises curiosity about whether she will deliver a bakery performance that surpasses the performer-famous Chef Choi Hyun-seok.
In addition, 'Cheonha Baking' will feature winners who have swept international competitions to demonstrate the greatness of K-bakery.
