Crossover group La Poem's new album has been sailing on music charts since its release.
La Poem released their third mini album, Alive, at 6 p.m. on the 20th through various music sites.
Despite returning after about 1 year and 9 months, all tracks including the title song have entered Bugs' real-time chart top 100, drawing a strong response.
The title track, Meant to Be, recorded No. 1 on Bugs' real-time chart, while Alive was No. 2, Orean Yaksok was No. 3, Salila was No. 4, and Este amor was No. 5, successfully lining up on the chart.
La Poem's third mini album, Alive, is an album that contains the choice and determination to not stop in the midst of change and to make this moment a time that proves being alive. From that determination it depicts the narrative from the moment of breaking the rules and running forward to the promise finally reached together with someone.
The title track, Meant to Be, is a song that delicately expresses the heart of confronting great trials and misfortune in life head-on rather than avoiding them. Kim Eana, a leading hit maker in the music industry, wrote the lyrics, and Lucky Clover, who has worked on OSTs for King the Land and Bon Appétit, Your Majesty among other popular dramas, participated in composing to raise the song's completeness.
On the album credits are MBC announcer and lyricist Kim Suji, Peppertones' Shin Jaepyeong, and Ahn Ye-eun, adding weight to the lineup. This album, which blends a talented writing team with La Poem's deep vocals, showed a clear upward trend on music charts immediately after release, proving La Poem's strength in digital music.
