The group IVE unveiled a coming-soon film for maknae Leeseo, heating up anticipation for their new release.
Starship Entertainment posted the new-release coming-soon film "Leeseo" on IVE's (An Yujin, Gaeul, Ray, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, Leeseo) official YouTube channel on the 21st.
The revealed coming-soon film piques curiosity with an unusual direction that resembles conducting an interview against a horizon backdrop. Leeseo, radiant in a pink dress, boasted bright visuals and left a cryptic hint toward the camera in English: "This is a secret, but I saw Wonyoung unni going out fully made up in the middle of the night." This closely connects with the mysterious outing scene in the first film released earlier featuring Jang Wonyoung, stimulating curiosity about the story of this new release.
In particular, in this video Leeseo dominated the mood by showing a stark contrast in temperature. She would smile innocently saying she could not tell where she had gone, but the moment she put on sunglasses she became expressionless and emitted intense charisma. The deep green background filling the screen combined with the sunglasses completed a mysterious aura reminiscent of the film The Matrix, increasing tension. If Jang Wonyoung's earlier film conveyed an overwhelming mood reminiscent of Kill Bill, Leeseo delivered a jolting, twist-filled direction that gave the thrill of watching a cinematic series.
At the end of the video, following the first video, a countdown toward Feb. 9 at 6 p.m. played with the same guitar riff ringing out, further stoking comeback excitement.
IVE confirmed a comeback for the end of February and will first meet fans through a pre-release track on Feb. 9. Leeseo served as an MC on SBS' Inkigayo through Dec. of last year, proving her solid hosting skills and quick wit as a "versatile entertainer." She also recently shared a vlog on IVE's official YouTube channel capturing her final moments as a teenager to mark the start of her twenties, drawing attention to Leeseo's activities to come in 2026.
IVE, which has announced a comeback for the end of February, plans to step up its comeback activities by sequentially releasing coming-soon films.
