Actor Jo Hyun-jae is starting a new journey with Soon ENT. This exclusive contract is especially meaningful because Jo Hyun-jae is moving beyond his existing acting work to join forces with Soon ENT, a global leader in short-form content, and embark on a full-fledged overseas push.
On the 21st, Soon ENT said, "We are very pleased to sign an exclusive contract with actor Jo Hyun-jae, who has long been loved by the public for his solid acting skills and gentle charisma," and said, "We will spare no support for Jo Hyun-jae's unique charm, as well as his new acting transformations and global activities."
Since merging with talent agency Yeojin Entertainment in March last year, Soon ENT has actively pursued traditional legacy cultural businesses such as film, television, and musical theater while recruiting actors including Cho Seong Ha, Lee Bon, and Cho Young-jin. In particular, by leveraging its strengths as an MCN company, it plans to create opportunities for various collaborations between creators and actors and advance to a comprehensive platform company.
Currently Jo Hyun-jae is actively discussing with local officials to appear in overseas dramas and films as well as to hold global fan meetings across Asia, including China, Japan, Indonesia and Thailand, centered on the Korean Wave. Soon ENT plans to further expand Jo Hyun-jae's domestic and international activity spectrum based on its global network and differentiated content planning capabilities.
Jo Hyun-jae said, "I have high expectations to be working with Soon ENT, which has a systematic management system and creative content production capabilities," and added, "I will do my best so that I can greet domestic and overseas fans with better works and new appearances."
Soon ENT CEO Park Chang-woo said, "We expect actor Jo Hyun-jae's contract with Soon ENT to lead to expansion into various areas such as commerce using SNS channels, music matching, and distribution of short-form drama," and said, "We will actively support SNS activities that leverage Soon ENT's strengths as well as the expansion of the actor's range of activities."
