On the 21st episode aired on tvN entertainment You Quiz on the Block (hereinafter You Quiz on the Block), actress Park Shinhye appeared.
On that day Yu Jae-seok asked, "When you went to church, did a teacher recommend you to become an actress?" Park Shinhye confessed, "I never even thought about being an actress. My original childhood dream was to be a police officer. There was a time a thief broke into our house."
She continued, "When I was young I didn't like standing in front of people. I was very quiet in class. Then at that time there was a public music video audition at the company of CEO Lee Seung-hwan," she recalled.
Park Shinhye said, "The church teacher was one of four sisters and they were all fans of Lee Seung-hwan. She asked, 'Wouldn't you like to try an audition?' I had a photo my mother had taken of me when I was young to remember how I looked, and I submitted that photo to the public audition."
After passing the first and second rounds, she traveled from Gwangju to Seoul, which took five hours, to attend the third audition. Park Shinhye said, "That's when I met CEO Lee Seung-hwan. I was in sixth grade in elementary school. In 2001 I started as a trainee singer, that year I shot the music video for Lee Seung-hwan's 'Do you love?' and then I filmed 'Flower.'"
