Actor Moon Sang Min is stirring women's hearts with a perfect hanbok fit.
In the KBS 2TV Saturday-Sunday miniseries "To My Beloved Thief" (writer Lee Seon, director Ham Young-gul), Moon Sang Min, who plays Dowoldaegun I-yeol, has been renewing legendary visuals every episode. The character's charm, swinging between the royal family's unique dignity and pure youthful beauty, combines with Moon Sang Min's warm appearance, stable acting and creates an explosive synergy.
Moon Sang Min previously made his mark as a budding historical actor playing Seongnamdaegun in the cable channel tvN drama "Under The Queen's Umbrella." In this work he has equipped himself with a more mature masculinity, and with his tall stature and broad shoulders he perfectly brings out the dignity of the hanbok, completing an elegant line with the flowing coat hem and showing the archetype of hanbok fit.
Accordingly, Moon Sang Min's overwhelming hanbok fit has become another viewing highlight of the drama. He showcases a variety of hanbok stylings suited to situations and emotions, adding dimensionality to the I-yeol character. From pastel bright tones to weighty deep-colored hanboks, he digests them all perfectly and has even drawn praise that "personal color is historical drama."
Various outfits ranging from everyday clothes to cheolik further highlight Moon Sang Min's dignified bearing. The distinctive visuals, fitting the moniker "the rom-com daegun of conviction," amplify the character's three-dimensional charm.
