Today (21st) at 8 p.m., TV CHOSUN's 'PerfecT Life' will air a segment showing actor Park Joon-kyu and his wife Jin Song-ah, who remain sweet after more than 30 years of marriage.
Park Joon-kyu and his wife appeared holding hands tightly, showing the same newlywed chemistry. When comedienne Lee Seong-mi asked, "Why do you walk holding hands?", Park Joon-kyu said, "When I hold hands, (my wife) seems to like it," drawing attention with his 'loving husband' side.
Park Joon-kyu's love for his wife continued in everyday life. He not only propped up his wife with his arm as she sat up in bed, he surprised everyone by giving her a "morning kiss" on the crown of her head. When Shin Seung-hwan exclaimed, "You kiss the crown of the head, not even the forehead?", Park Joon-kyu broke the sweet mood in an instant on the video by saying, "What did you eat before sleeping last night? Your hair smells like food," causing uproarious laughter. His wife scolded her husband Park Joon-kyu, saying, "Is that something you should say?!" which added to the humor. In fact, it was revealed that they had enjoyed late-night snacks of gopchang jeongol and beer the night before and fell asleep immediately, shocking everyone.
Meanwhile, the Park Joon-kyu couple drew attention by revealing a family photo taken with their daughter-in-law. When Lee Seong-mi praised, "You got a pretty daughter-in-law," Park Joon-kyu's wife explained, "She met our son in the same way our couple met, while doing musical theater." Park Joon-kyu's son, musical actor Park Jong-chan, married actress Lee Eunji in 2023. Park Joon-kyu's wife added, "My daughter-in-law and I are really like friends," while also saying, "My husband and my daughter-in-law are like 'Tom and Jerry' (bickering)," which piqued curiosity. The Park Joon-kyu couple's affection for their daughter-in-law can be seen on the broadcast.
Park Joon-kyu's wife recalled memories of her father-in-law, the late actor Park No-sik. When Lee Seong-mi asked, "How was your relationship with the late actor Park No-sik?", Park Joon-kyu's wife said, "From the first meeting with my husband I knew whose son he was. To me, the late actor Park No-sik was a senior and a respected actor. Becoming the daughter-in-law of the late actor Park No-sik was more moving and more meaningful than the marriage itself," expressing her respect and affection for her father-in-law. Park Joon-kyu added, "Because she was his only daughter-in-law, he couldn't help but dote on her more," conveying his feelings about a father who cherished his daughter-in-law and adding to the poignancy.<
