"Mumu X Chacha-Ubba Radio"'s Jun Hyun-moo left a candid remark about breakups.
On the 20th episode of SBS variety show "Mumu X Chacha-Ubba Radio," episode 3 featured a colorful lineup where competition rivals and long-time friends faced off. From duet stages to separate four-member male and female face-offs, the program drew attention with a composition that blended music and stories.
In the day's first segment, which gifts a song matching a listener's story, rivals Lee Ye-ji and Choi Eun-bin formed a duet and took the stage as representatives of Team Mumu. In response, Team Chacha sent out Lee Ji-hoon and Jeremy, who had sung together since childhood, for a tense head-to-head. Both teams performed under the theme of "breakup," presenting stages with different sensibilities and leaving a deep aftertaste.
When a male audience member's story expressing regret after a breakup was revealed, MC Cha Taehyun shared his own marriage anecdote, drawing sympathy. He recalled, "Although the movie My Sassy Girl achieved great success, my 20s after that were a period of gradual decline," and said, "It was the hardest time, but I had ambition and wanted to try one more big thing. So I postponed marriage."
He added, "Then the year my wife turned 30, she said, 'Get married or break up,'" and confessed candidly, "After hearing that, I ran to her and held on. That's how we reached the altar."
Afterward, MC Jun Hyun-moo was asked, "How do you overcome a breakup?" Jun Hyun-moo offered firm advice, saying, "There is the most powerful one-shot." He said, "Love should end with another love," and added, "I've tried drinking after a breakup, visiting places of memories, singing breakup songs — I've done it all, and it means nothing at all." He continued, "It would look very pitiful even in my ex-girlfriend's eyes," and added, "It's better to live my life better. The lesson is to stop being pathetic."
