'I'm SOLO' 29th season contestant Yeong-sik causes an 'outburst of sobbing' on the last day at 'Solonara 29.'
On Wednesday the 21st at 10:30 p.m., SBS Plus and ENA's real dating program I'm SOLO will reveal the story of Yeong-sik of the 29th season, who cried uncontrollably ahead of the final choice.
Earlier, after being rejected by Hyun-sook, Yeong-sik went to see Yeong-sook in turn and made a sudden dash, saying, "I never really thought about it," rising to the top as the 'Solo-ssi.' With the final choice looming, Yeong-sik's actions that muddied the love line prompted current professor Yeong-sook to transform into 'NaSol O Eun-yeong-sook' and give sharp advice, saying, "Are you a villain? You need to act properly in society!"
On the last morning, Yeong-sik quietly cleans the communal living room and does the dishes alone. Afterwards, with neat hands he even whips up Kimchi-jjigae. He, who had volunteered to be in charge of meals for the 29th season every day, carries the finished Kimchi-jjigae and goes to the women's dorm. But shortly after, he becomes extremely angry and has a meeting with Yeong-sook.
Yeong-sook asks him, "Why are you angry?" and Yeong-sik suddenly bursts into tears. Switching to 'O Eun-yeong-sook mode,' Yeong-sook soothes him, saying, "How much sorrow did you feel coming to 'Solonara' at such a young age? I know it all. You tried the hardest, that's right. How hard it was." As Yeong-sook pats his shoulder in a 'coaxing mode,' Yeong-sik chokes up again and heads straight to the bathroom. He continues crying alone for a long time after, and interest surges in what led the 'Solo-ssi' Yeong-sik to suddenly sob.
Meanwhile, the April 14th (Wednesday) broadcast of I'm SOLO recorded an average rating of 3.6% (combined SBS Plus·ENA figure for paid households in the Seoul metropolitan area), and its highest minute rating surged to 3.9%, showing its hot weekly popularity.
