Hwang Hana, the great-granddaughter of the founder of Namyang Dairy Products, was reported to have mentioned the names of entertainers during a police investigation.
On the 19th, a video titled "Hwang Hana, Seungri, Park Yuchun: reporter Oh Hyuk-jin's special investigative file revealed" was posted on the YouTube channel "JiritJirit."
The video featured reporter Oh Hyuk-jin grants revealing his reporting on allegations of crimes by celebrities including Hwang Hana, Seungri, and Park Yuchun and on criminal networks within Cambodia.
First, reporter Oh Hyuk-jin said about Hwang Hana's entry and the investigation, "She claimed she came back for the child, but that's not true at all. Based on confirmations through the intelligence authorities and the police, in order to acknowledge the criminal charges to some extent, she coordinated the entry date with the police in advance," and added, "She always told us on calls that whenever she went abroad she had no money. She complained to us, saying her parents had cut off her cards and she had no money and asked why people kept harassing her. But it was more like making excuses than complaining. She said she had no money, but then suddenly came back wearing a padded jacket worth several hundred thousand won? That's crazy."
He continued, "She must have known she was an Interpol investigation target. Even so, the fact that she came to Korea suggests there was something more terrifying than Interpol's pursuit. The man now called Hwang Hana's husband is someone strongly suspected of being involved with a criminal organization. The most circulated story in Cambodia was that the two planned to start a business. But there was embezzlement in the middle, and I understand the police are investigating that part now."
Oh said, "After entering Korea, Hwang Hana has been making excuses that she did not use or distribute drugs, but it seems the police have identified specific times and places of drug use. As far as I know, she has testified about several entertainers to the authorities. I heard she named male entertainers and female entertainers, and she may think that only by revealing others' crimes can she get a reduced sentence."
Meanwhile, the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office Anyang Branch indicted Hwang Hana on charges of injecting methamphetamine into two acquaintances with a syringe at an apartment in Gangnam District, Seoul, in July 2023.
