Actor Park Jin Hee sharpens the blade of meticulous revenge in the new daily drama "Red Pearl."
The KBS 2TV new daily drama "Red Pearl" (directed by Kim Seong Geun, written by Kim Seo Jeong), which is scheduled to premiere at 7:50 p.m. on Feb. 23, is a work that depicts a meticulous and intense chronicle of revenge in which two women who return under false identities uncover the sins and truths hidden in the Adel family.
Park Jin Hee plays twin sisters Kim Myeong Hee and Kim Dan Hee simultaneously, delivering a powerful double-role performance. The older sister Kim Myeong Hee is a nurse with a gentle personality who dreams of an ordinary home and simple happiness. However, after confronting unexpected truths, she falls into a whirlpool of tragic fate. By contrast, the younger sister Kim Dan Hee, having learned the hidden truths about her sister, abandons her own life and lives under her sister's name, embarking on a desperate path of revenge to seize the Adel Group.
Meanwhile, today (the 20th), stills of the twin sisters, which evoke contrasting atmospheres, were released. First, Park Jin Hee, who plays Kim Myeong Hee, conveys a warm impression with a gentle smile and a relaxed atmosphere.
