The whereabouts of Seungri, formerly of Big Bang, have been revealed.
On the 19th, a video titled 'Exclusive investigative file by reporter Oh Hyuk-jin revealing Hwang Hana, Seungri, Park Yuchun and others' was posted on the YouTube channel 'JiritJirit'.
Reporter Oh Hyuk-jin also revealed allegations of Seungri's illegal business in Cambodia. Oh said, "They say he parties with executives of Cambodian crime syndicates, like a second Burning Sun of Korea, and mingles with money launderers and people involved in voice phishing, and mostly with people from the casino side. Reports are coming in that he parties together with Cambodian crime syndicate executives. He probably intended to create things like a second Burning Sun of Korea in Cambodia,"
He added, "In Southeast Asia, there is still an image that he was a member of Big Bang. Because of that, it seems he tried to prepare illegal businesses. As far as I know, he now mainly goes back and forth to Thailand."
Seungri, who was identified as a key figure in the 2019 Burning Sun scandal, caused controversy and served one year and six months for nine charges, including prostitution, arranging prostitution, violation of the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Violence, violation of the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes, violation of the Food Sanitation Act, habitual gambling, and violation of the Foreign Exchange Transactions Act.
After serving his sentence, Seungri is active as a businessman. He has been quoted saying abroad in places like Cambodia that "someday I will bring G-Dragon here," and he has used Big Bang for his business by dancing to G-Dragon and Taeyang's 'Good Boy,' which drew flak. He was also spotted having a meal with a woman at a bone soup restaurant in Songpa District, Seoul, and was seen at a nightclub in Hangzhou.
