The group BTS will hold a full-group comeback performance in the Gwanghwamun area of Seoul.
On the 20th, the Korea Heritage Service conditionally approved HYBE's application for a performance at Gwanghwamun Plaza after deliberation that afternoon.
The Korea Heritage Service said, "It will form a subcommittee in the future to review detailed matters such as the impact on cultural heritage."
Accordingly, whether BTS will perform at Gwanghwamun Plaza is expected to be finally decided after additional review by the subcommittee.
Earlier, HYBE recently applied to the Korea Heritage Service for permission to use and film locations including Gwanghwamun Plaza as well as Gyeongbokgung Palace and the area around Sungnyemun ahead of BTS's full-group comeback.
Meanwhile, BTS will make a comeback on Mar. 20 with their fifth studio album "ARIRANG." "ARIRANG" is an album that deals with the team's identity, longing and deep love, universal emotions, and contains a total of 14 tracks. After the new album's release, they will begin a large-scale world tour starting in Goyang on Apr. 9.
