Block B alumnus actor Pyo Jihoon, known as P.O, shared an experience of visiting a plastic surgery clinic when he debuted.
On the 19th, a video titled "Hyungs, follow me to the rooftop Kwon Sang-woo Moon Chae-won P.O" was uploaded to the Zzanbro Shin Dong-yeob channel.
That day on Zzanbro, lead actors of the film Heartman Kwon Sang-woo, Moon Chae-won and P.O appeared as guests and chatted together. Then P.O opened up, saying "This is the first time I'm telling hyung, but back when my group Block B debuted, the company took members whose looks were considered a bit lacking to a plastic surgery clinic."
Shin Dong-yeob agreed, saying "That was how it was back then," and P.O said, "A few of us were picked. A few were picked and taken to a plastic surgery clinic. You know the thing in movies where they put a pen on it? They say if you do this it might be okay, but honestly I was confident in my looks. I loved my face," showing confidence about his appearance.
Kwon Sang-woo said, "If you had done it then, it would have been a big problem," and P.O said, "The company sent me, so I went. The doctor said, 'If you do a little nose surgery and a little eye work, I'll make you into Kwon Sang-woo.' Really. And about 20 years later I was cast as the younger sibling of senior (Kwon Sang-woo). The senior was already handsome then, but that was when he shone even more," he said, recounting the astonishing coincidence.
Shin Dong-yeob asked, "But did you do it then? You didn't, did you?" and P.O confessed, "I went home and thought about it a lot. I looked in the mirror and in the bathroom I was like, 'Kwon Sang-woo?', 'Kwon Sang-woo?'"
Then Kwon Sang-woo changed the subject by saying, "P.O, let's drink," and praised him, saying, "But P.O, your face is so pretty now." P.O said he was surprised, "I was amazed from the moment I got the call. I wondered what kind of role it was, and it turned out to be the younger sibling role of senior Kwon Sang-woo. I thought, 'That doctor is amazing,'" he said, astonished.
