Singer Chuu opened up about being a victim of a "transit part-time job".
On the 20th, Kian84's YouTube channel Life84 released a video titled "Kian84man Daejanggyeong with Chuu."
Kian84 prepared a vegetable hot pot for Chuu's grants. They initially planned to go to a famous restaurant, but because the shoot date fell on Christmas Eve, there were no seats, and Kian84 ended up preparing the vegetable hot pot himself. Later, when Kian84 met Chuu on Christmas Eve, after greeting her warmly and talking about recent news, he realized their birthdays were similar and suggested a joint birthday party. Chuu promised, "I don't need the rate to be right. Even if I'm really busy, even if my leg is broken, even if I'm in the sky, I will definitely go to the birthday party."
Chuu, who is a native of Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, said she was fired from a bakery part-time job after a week, "It was so unfair because it was when so many new breads came out. I had to memorize the names and locations, so it was so hard. I couldn't multi-task," she said, and she added that the sympathetic owner interviewed a friend who was attending university and fired Chuu, which drew sympathy. Chuu said, "I was subject to 'EXchange / Transit Love.' I recently went back and it was gone."
Chuu said she only liked singing and had no intention of becoming an idol, but after performing TWICE's "TT" at a high school retreat and feeling the overwhelming cheers, she dreamed of becoming an idol. She said she advanced to the final round of JYP Entertainment auditions in her third year of high school but was eliminated because she was somewhat old and lacked dance skills at the time.
Chuu said she already had fans who would bring gifts to the school gate even before her official debut, and that such fan support became the driving force toward debuting. She showed her passionate love for the stage, saying that no matter how many years pass, nothing can replace the dopamine from breathing with the public on stage.
From a pure anecdote about secretly following a friend she had a crush on for seven years because he looked cool playing soccer from elementary school through the third year of middle school, to showing a warm side by competing with Kian84 in a coin karaoke showdown, Chuu vowed to grow as an artist while working on songs until she was satisfied with her first full-length album release.
