Actor Ha Jiwon and Kim Min-kyu meet in their next project.
On the 20th, OSEN reported that Ha Jiwon and Kim Min-kyu have been offered roles in the new drama "Adultery Hunter" and are positively considering them.
"Adultery Hunter" is a work produced with the participation of Two Frame, which last year co-produced the drama Shin's Project starring Han Suk-kyu. The directing is by Kim Seung-ho, who co-directed works such as "Nokdu Flower", Sisyphus: The Myth, and Twenty Five Twenty One and served as the main director for "The Joseon Lawyer" and Modular Family, and the screenplay is by writer Hwang Bo-kyung, with reports saying it is being discussed for scheduling on tvN.
Ha Jiwon has appeared in a wide range of works across genres, drawing box-office success with films such as Phone, Sex Is Zero, Miracle on 1st Street, Haeundae, My Love By My Side, and dramas such as School 2, Secret, Damo, What Happened in Bali, Hwang Jini, Secret Garden, and Empress Ki.
Among them, Ha Jiwon, who established herself as the top female action star in Korea with her outstanding action performances, is expected to go after ratings again through "Adultery Hunter." There is growing anticipation for the performance she, who recently returned to the small screen after four years with the Jini TV drama "Climax," will show in "Adultery Hunter."
Attention is also focused on the busy activities of Kim Min-kyu, who recently completed his military service. Following dramas such as "Signal" and "Because This Is My First Life" and gaining attention for his romantic role in Business Proposal, Kim Min-kyu enlisted in the army as an active-duty soldier in 2024 and completed his national defense duties in September last year and returned. After that, he began his first post-discharge project with the KBS2 one-act drama Love: Track - Soundtrack Not of This World, and expectations are that he will kick off a full-fledged comeback by showing fresh chemistry with Ha Jiwon through "Adultery Hunter."
In this regard, Ha Jiwon's agency, Hae & Dal Entertainment, told OSEN that it is "a work currently under consideration for appearance," and Kim Min-kyu's agency Companion Company also said it was "positively considering an offer to appear in 'Adultery Hunter.'"
Meanwhile, "Adultery Hunter" is expected to complete its casting process and begin filming in the first half of this year.
