Actor Kim Seon-ho's night, hotter and more tranquil than the day, was captured.
Kim Seon-ho said he chose the Netflix series "Does this love need interpretation?" during a photoshoot and interview for fashion magazine Elle's February issue. In the drama, Kim Seon-ho completed another career-defining role as multilingual interpreter Joo Hojin.
In an interview after the shoot, Kim Seon-ho spoke about why he was drawn to the work "Does this love need interpretation?": "In the drama, Hojin and Muhee spend time together in several countries and gradually grow feelings for each other. Who hasn't once dreamed of that romantic moment of meeting someone while traveling? This is a work that shows that right before your eyes. The moment when all hearts seem like they will open. Maybe that's why I felt the two people's emotions well in the work," he said.
Regarding the romantic chemistry with co-star Go Youn-jung, he said, "I believe chemistry naturally forms when people open their hearts to each other. Fortunately, Yun-jung and I matched well in terms of temperature and texture regarding the set and acting. We focused on making the two people truly exist and tried to 'live' as naturally as possible in those scenes." He added, "Fortunately, this is a work that I was lucky to be able to do with really good people."
If someone were to fully interpret Kim Seon-ho's heart to the world, regarding the first thing he would want to be conveyed, he said, "Facing myself. It's not words like pounding heart or excitement. I want to properly face myself as I continue acting, reflect on my shortcomings, and generously praise the parts that deserve praise. So it means 'not avoiding,'" he said.
