On Wed., Feb. 4, Disney+ will release Bloody Flower, which unveiled a character still of lawyer Park Han-jun standing at the most intense crossroads of choice at the center of the drama.
The mystery thriller Bloody Flower, which depicts the stories of people surrounding a serial killer with the ability to cure all incurable diseases, presented a character still that contains the narrative of lawyer Park Han-jun facing the most brutal choice between law, common sense and family.
Seong Dong Il, who has built a solid filmography over more than 35 years across film and drama, has been praised as a "reliable watch" for his wide acting spectrum that does not discriminate by genre or role. Breaking down the boundary between supporting and leading roles while firmly supporting the heart of works, he convincingly portrays with restrained acting a character in Bloody Flower whose cool legal reasoning and instincts as a father collide.
The released character still fully captures the inner weight carried by Park Han-jun. His tightly pressed lips and deeply sunk gaze convey both the cool reasoning of a legal professional and the desperate paternal love hidden beneath, raising the drama's tension.
In the first photo, Park Han-jun crosses between the police fence and the crowds holding rough-slogan placards with an unshaken stride. His refusal to bow his head or avert his eyes reveals a resolute attitude to endure both external pressure and moral condemnation. Isolated alone in a space where anger and justice collide, his figure symbolically shows the position of someone who chose an option worth protecting even at the cost of social criticism.
In the second released photo, he is seen wearing protective clothing over a neat shirt and tie.
