Choi Jun-hee revealed her tearful feelings about a handwritten letter from her mother, the late Choi Jin-sil.
On the 19th, Choi Jun-hee said, "For the first time in a long while, an article was about my mother, not me," adding, "A fan of my mother received a fan letter and said it would be a treasure to keep for life and that it was a letter received 35 years ago. I was so happy and grateful that they treasured it. I love the fans as much as my mother did, so I express it like this every day — could this be hereditary?" she said, mentioning a common trait between mother and daughter.
She continued, "But I'm not as handy as my mother, so my handwriting is crooked and I can't always send it nicely," adding, "My mother must have been 100 times busier than me, but it's so amazing and admirable that she still sent letters to fans amid that schedule," and expressed the hope, "I hope the gifts I send you, with my feelings pressed firmly inside, deliver lots of happiness."
Choi Jun-hee also added, "I didn't grow up being loved, but fortunately I grew up wanting to share lots of love. Mom, thank you."
The released video contains a fan letter Choi Jun-hee received from a fan of her mother, Choi Jin-sil. The fan letter is a handwritten reply Choi Jin-sil wrote herself for a young fan, and it is known to be a letter from as long as 35 years ago.
In the handwritten letter, Choi Jin-sil showed sincerity, saying, "OOO, hello? It's Jin-sil unni. Surprised? First, I received the letter you sent me in pretty handwriting," and it was reported that many people who still miss actress Choi Jin-sil recently have been sending various mementos to her daughter, Choi Jun-hee.
Choi Jun-hee also expressed her sincere wish to the fans who support and love her, saying, "I express my love like this every day — could this be hereditary?" and "I hope the gifts I send you, with my feelings pressed firmly inside, deliver lots of happiness." She also recalled the late Choi Jin-sil, saying, "My mother must have been 100 times busier than me, but it's so amazing and admirable that she still sent letters to fans amid that schedule."
Meanwhile, Choi Jun-hee is the second daughter of the late Choi Jin-sil, one of the most popular actresses of the 1990s. Choi Jin-sil died on Oct. 2, 2008, at the age of 40.
